Amoebiasis   What is Amebiasis " Amoebiasis is Also know as  'Amoebic dysentry' it is a common infection of human gastro-intestinal tract." Amebiasis this dieses affects 15% population of our country India. Amebiasis Is caused by a protist parasite-"Entamoeba histolytica"  Signs and symptoms: (1):- Diarrhoea, flatulence,  stool with mucus and abdominal pain(cramps) are common in amebiasis. (2):- passing the blood with stool is common in several cases. (3):- Hepatomegaly occurs if parasites enter the liver. liver  develops  amoebic liver abscess accompanied  with fever and pain in right abdomen.in this all are are symptoms of amebiasis. Mode of transmission: (a):-Faeco-oral route. (b):- Eating Whit dirty hands (c):- Contaminated food and water (d):- Eating Stale food.
